IT'S SOOOOO COLD!!!

We only officially started winter 10 days ago and already it is so COLD! This morning when I took Abbey to school it was 8 degrees, the poor kids, I hope the teachers are smart enough to keep them inside today so they don't all get sick. I'm not looking forward to going back out in the freezing cold to go to work!

Last night I spent approx 5 hours cutting everything out for my latest project. Just as well I love crafting huh? I'm hoping to get them all finished on Thursday night so I can post pics and then deliver them Friday.

I have a scrap page brewing in me, I just need to get my scrapping MOJO back....I'm not really sure what's happening but I just can't seem to get it together. I even bought a couple of new papers etc on the weekend so I could have some new things to get my motivation going and even that didn't work. I have only done 1 scrap page since mid April!! That is not like me at all. I will try to start it tonight and it might just flow (fingers crossed).

Until next time,

p.s. Wish it was Spring already - it's gonna be a LONG Winter!

Sweet Sunday Sketch

I can't believe it...I have managed to do the sweet sunday sketch for 2 weeks in a row!!!

This is sketch # 21.
and my take...

It's not the greatest photo - unfortunately you can't really see all the little paper tiles underneath the flower but trust me, they're there!

Don't you just LOVE these torn flowers!? This is a new fave of mine. I have been admiring them on other blogs for a while and thought I would give them a shot seeing as I found an awesome tutorial over on Dawn's blog. Super easy!!

Well, that's me done for the weekend. Time to clean up all this scrappers mess and get organised for work tomorrow :(

Until next time,

A wonderful 3 day weekend

The weekend was spent crafting and spending time with family. What a great weekend!!!

Saturday was spent at Daniel's uncles house for a BBQ lunch...here are a couple of pics of Isabelle and Abbey enjoying their ice cream cones after lunch.

Sunday night, my gorgeous little niece Isabelle had a sleep over with us.

The girls made their own dinner....ham and pineapple pizza.
Thank goodness Daniel and I weren't eating that, look at their hands all over the food!!
They LOVED eating their own creation.

A fun weekend was had by all...especially once I got myself into 'craft mode'. I have an order of baby boy thank you cards to make and I have never had to make boy things before. It took me a long time to get into the idea of not making things frilly and girly. It was a struggle, believe me!! I even email Sar at some ungodly hour to see if she was still up so I could bounce some ideas off her. Thanks for your feedback Sar! xo

Here are a couple of my creations, keep in mind they are rough designs only. Not the 'real thing' so they are a little rough around the edges just to give her an idea of the design.

the next 2 cards I got the sketch from a card that Karen did. I can't find it again on her blog so sorry, I can't direct you to the original but trust me, it is GORGEOUS!!

The turtles are my favourite....you know I love adding cute little critters to my cards, they're adorable!! Now I just have to wait and see what she decides on, fingers crossed it's the turtles!

I will be posting again soon, I'm just finishing my card for the sweet sunday sketch.

Many Thanks.....

25 in total!!

Finally the cards are all done!! I am going to over load you with pics....well, you have waited so long, I want you to see every bit of them. You must all feel as though you have made them with me, you've pretty much had a blow by blow comentary!

I think they are all so so pretty!! I really like that the patterned paper is all a little different.

Sarah was kind enough to let me know my next SU order has been shipped so I should receive it by the weekend and I can start on the next order...wooHOO boy ones this time!!

My very good friend Danielle just told me today her little bun in the oven is a girl so I'm sure there will be lots more pink cards on my little blog in about 4 months time.

Thanks for taking the time to visit. Hope you're all having a great week!

busy busy

trying to get these thank you cards done before I get my new order and have to start on the next set. I have spent the last few hours trimming cardstock and patterned paper and ribbon - 25 of everything! It all looks so pretty when it's together. Right now I have my cricut working overtime cutting out lots and lots of butterflies. I can't wait to see how all the cards look when they are all put together and looking gorgeous!!

Whilst I'm waiting on the Cricut to finish I think I'll give Karen's card sketch a go.

Stay tuned...hopefully I'll get some pics posted tonight!

Ebay Beauty!

I saw a lovely stamp set on a blog months ago and vowed to one day get it in my hot little hands and whatd'ya know....today I manage to win it on Ebay!! woooHOOO

The special little find is none other than......drumroll please.....

It's the retired set called...Bundle of Joy. The pic isn't great but you get the idea.

Lately I have been working with Stampin Up! products and have absolutely fallen in love with them. I have been asked to do some more thank you cards for a friend of a friend. Baby boy cards this time. I have placed an order with the lovely Sarah-Jane and can't wait to get my hands on it and make some cute little boys cards. I NEVER get to make boy things so I really am looking forward to this.

I am still making Rochelle's thank you cards. I was hoping to have them done by Sunday but with the drama over the weekend they took a back seat.

I am pleased to say that my brother is OK after his car accident and after the shock of it all wore off he is back to normal (if anyone can call 25 yr old boys normal haha). His car was finally towed to the smash repairer today for an assesment to be done. Fingers crossed this doesn't take too long. Thank you to everyone that left me comments and sent emails with well wishes for him xx

I have just done an hour long work out on my treadmill and then with my Isoballs. If you don't know what they are, you can see them here. I bought these at Target over a year ago and forgot I had them. When we moved in October last year I found them and after months of looking at them I FINALLY used them. WOW, what a workout!! I never knew that such low impact/toning exercise could cause me to sweat so much!! I feel great!

I'm going to leave you with a pic of baby Paige....how cute is this little angel. I had so much fun yesterday morning with her and Rochelle. I got to bath the baby !! Oohhhh I'm sooo clucky! I want one!

until next time,
